What is LYTROC?
The LYTROC procedure results in a rich mix of extremely well-reinforced concrete. The strength and flexibility allow for a 60-85% reduction in material along with faster curing times due to the material reduction. The reinforcement is cost-effective and does not contain steel, fiberglass, or carbon fiber.
The nature of the LYTROC procedure makes achieving more complicated shapes much easier, which opens up new possibilities for many forms of construction and product fabrication.
WHY
RESILIENT
LYTROC can be thin because it's strong. It's flexibility provides good impact resistance and when LYTROC breaks it bends instead of shattering, providing safety for many applications.
LIGHTER
LYTROC is not particularly light, but it can be made 60% to 85% thinner than conventional concrete, and less material results in less weight.
ECONOMICAL
While textile-reinforced concrete has already proven effective, it has never proven to be particularly cost-effective. That's where LYTROC breaks the mold.
MALLEABLE
LYTROC is not only easy to use and form with single-sided molds, but the cured LYTROC is also easier to cut and adjust compared to conventional concrete or fiberboard.
